I thought John looked pretty cool in these pics standing on the rocks with his tree branch discussing theories on how the rock formations were created many moons ago with the boys.
He was such great human, and will be missed by so many, including myself.
Wish I could be there for the farewell but unfortunately I have work commitments I can’t get out of.

I loved my Uncle John, respected him greatly. His calm and gentle nature could make you feel instantly welcome, and massive hugs made you feel special and loved. I especially enjoyed times in more recent years when he told me of his projects, especially cars and bikes. One of my fondest memories is when Uncle John took me for a ride in his old jeep, and told me how restored it. I will miss him.
