So so sorry for your loss, it was an absolute pleasure to care for Jim in his last days ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Please accept our most heartfelt condolences at the passing of Mr munnoch, I always called him that as I would run by the shop or pop over to say good morning, as he waited to get his paper with his mates first thing in the morning. I have know you all in the village for many years and it was always striking and a lovrly time spent with Jim, he will be remembered by myself as a truly happy, kind and joyful man. He always had a smile and made you feel like he was always truly happy to see you and have a chat, a quality rare and so appreciated. His lovely spirit will live on here in Currarong, much love to you all from Kimbo and Heather

Taff & I have so many wonderful memories of conversations with Jimmy. They mainly centred around building projects & were always good humoured. There were our renovations at Longreach when we had a new baby (Archie) in the house & the very protective Collie did not appreciate Jimmy coming to the door. There was a surprised exclamation… “The Bloody dog bit me!” but he always said that dog was “fickle” as she would happily take some lunch from Jimmy & his crew! The next building project was at Currarong. He knew Taff too well & would say “I know, you want it to last forever”! So, we had marine grade everything! The next project was my medical practice in Nowra & as the opening date approached, Jimmy decided he would have to reinforce the front brick fence as the foundations were virtually non-existent. When I said to him, “Jimmy, we need to open, we can’t delay any longer”, he reassured me that they would get it done & if there were any problems, he would personally carry the elderly patients across the rough ground! He managed this challenge without mishap & was not required to carry anyone, but we were confident he would if required. Always the gentleman. We remember Jim so fondly; he met every challenge with good humour & a practical solution & it was always a pleasure to have a chat. We are grateful to have such wonderful memories and it was a pleasure that we had a catch up at Currarong with Bev, Anna & Jim just pre-Covid. You are all in our thoughts, Taff & Vicki xxx
