You were the friend I needed when I didn't know I needed one. Thank you for adopting our little family. Tours around your garden, your passion for green tomato relish, and friendly cups of tea hold a special place in our hearts.
My girls saw you as a mystical fairy and your home an enchanted world. You filled their little lives with magic & wonder. Thank you for letting them play and being there as they explored.
I will miss our talks about flowers, fresh vegetables & the knowledge and energy you shared with me. You have helped me to be a better mum and put things into perspective when I'm having a bad day.
I don't think I'll ever stop giving you a wave when we walk past your windows. While my heart feels a little bit empty knowing our little window catch ups and pats of 'ducky' can't happen anymore, I can't stop smiling and feeling a sense of warmth knowing that somewhere you are smothering your beautiful boys with cuddles in the adoring arms of your husband.
