Posts to the tribute of Victor Oke

I knew Silky for many years. I worked with him at Cleary Bros at Bomaderry with Chris Rutledge, Jeff Carter and Freddy Grimes who was the Batcher. Also later in life when Silky worked for Bowen's we travelled together, quite often coming home from Melbourne. Silky was a good friend to have and we've lost a good trucky mate and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Best regards to his family. Ian Salway
