Tribute from Melanie - neice of Nena. My dear Aunty Nena. Always my favourite Aunty. On relection - much more than just your average Aunty. For me many times, a Mum, a Nan & a dear friend - that I always managed to find my way back to. In my younger years I had you to myself as your only neice, yet still sometimes it was hard to share you. Despite all your own life trials & heartaches you always had an open ear, a strong shoulder, warm heart & cuppa 'n' bikkies! I have missed you in my life for many years after moving to New Zealand & now many more to come. Though I know not to underestimate our connection & how clever you are. I take great comfort in knowing you are only a 'thoughts throw away' & that you are reunited with our past loved ones. I am forever greatful to you for your love & care. Rest easy my dearest Nena.
