Ern, you will know that you played a key role in my early business career. We didn't always agree - but we were both passionate about doing the right thing in the rapidly-evolving industry in which we found ourselves. Thanks to LinkedIn, we closed the 30-year gap to be in contact again and to focus on the important things we'd held in common so long ago. Rest in peace, Ernie! Know that yo made a difference!
Ern consulted to me for 23 years but above that, he was a dear friend, mentor and in may ways a father figure. He loved my girls and if something didn't smell right to him, I was first to know.
He was a self-taught intellect, visionary and was always happy to share his knowledge.
The day before his funeral, I automatically went to dial his number to have our 'two hour catch up chat' on the way to the farm in Jamberoo. At that point, it really hit me that he was no longer with us..

I was introduced to Ernie by our mutual friend John Booth about 20 years ago. I found Ernie very engaging, intelligent, on point and passionate about his dietary supplement beliefs.
The few times I had the pleasure to speak to Ernie, I always smiled and took note of his points. He challenged me to think about his comments and I would always listen to his point of view.
The industry has lost one of the good and honest people who stood for principle.

I first met Ernie around 40 years ago whilst he was working with Michael Hall.
From those early days our business relationship grew dramatically as did our friendship.
In our younger days we worked hard, but also found time for some good times.
Ernie was always a fighter for what he believed in.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Ern in the late 1980's and was in regular contact with him via our professional careers either on the phone or in person at natural health industry events and conferences. As the years rolled by he'd sometimes just pick up the phone to have a chat about projects he was working on at the time, family, politics or just life in general. His passion and commitment was at the highest level. Ern was a good man and a gentleman. Rest In Peace Pal
Ern was our dear friend for 37 years. He was well known in the field of Nutrition Research and Product Development and was much respected.
Ern always loved to talk about his extended family and how cute the little ones were.
He had a cheeky sense of humour and often told stories about his funny life experiences.
We will remember the many happy times spent with Ern over dinners, watching movies, visiting with him at home or simply those long chats on the phone.
We will miss him.
