Much love Sue, he was a good guy.
My favourite memory is of him feeding all the white cockatoos on the verandah at West Pennant Hills. He really loved them.
Big hugs Sue.
Bob came into our lives in Launceston in the 1990s and we saw that he would be a great foil for our special friend, Sue. Bob, Sue and Peter and I had many hilarious moments in those early days of his and Sue’s relationship in Tasmania and we came to love him – and still do.
Yes, it took them decades to tie the knot, but it was worth the wait. When he and Sue shifted to Kangaroo Valley he shook off his city slicker dislike of the valley and fell in love what he said was the best place he had ever lived. We were so happy to be at their wedding and to have memories of him with his beloved Sue, the dogs and that wonderful view. He was a gentleman, funny and a great intellect and we miss him.

The service was beautiful and told the story of Bob and it was so true, his respect for humanity and his generosity of spirit. Our deepest sympathy to Sue and family.
We will miss him very much, a dear friend to us both. Love Annette & Scott ❤️
