I met Stephen some years ago through my partner Jamie. We exchanged many messages over time, in particular while organising a painting for Jamie that was a surprise gift. Stephen you were an amazing artist! I had a tiny (very poor quality photo) that captured a moment in time. I do not know how you worked from this photo but you absolutely captured the complexity of emotion. I was astounded. It is a dark, complex and beautiful piece or work with a story behind it. You would not take a cent for this artwork. You were warm, engaging, funny, generous and so so talented. My deepest condolences to Stephen's children, his mum, his siblings and all of his friends.
