Rest easy, Pop. You were an amazing and loving man to many.
As I get older, I’ll never forget the memories of our childhood and spending every Boxing Day with the family.
Sunshine, swimming, pool/snooker, family race day, the Boxing Day Test, fresh seafood, and sneaking to the fridge for soft drinks all day long.
I’m so glad you had the opportunity to hug your grandson—a memory I will cherish forever.
Love you, Pop. ❤️

I’ll always cherish the memories I have of growing up with you. Some of my best childhood moments were spent by your side, surrounded by family. I remember playing pool and you teaching me how to play snooker, going fishing together, watching the Boxing Day Test, swimming in the pool, listening to the races. I can still picture you sitting down, ready to watch TV with a ginger beer in one hand and a packet of chips in the other, and before I knew it, you’d be fast asleep, chips scattered across your chest. You lived a long live and at peace now. Love you Pop

Hard to wrap my head around the fact you are gone. I can’t ever thank you enough for every opportunity you gave me. For the constant, never wavering support, to being the best Poppy ‘EVER’ to Bailey and Lacey. The kids are devastated. Grief is proof that love exists. I love you, Bec

Uncle Leo, thinking of the old days, when we’d visit your house in Blacktown with Aunty Jude, Leo, Greg, and Michelle. Those nights you drove us home from Aunty Sheila and Uncle Jim’s, a few beers in you, the car filled with our laughter and your stories—they feel so distant now. As years passed, we would visit you and Heather in Greystanes, little Rebecca so small then, her giggles echoing in my mind. Those were good times, warm and fleeting. Now you’re gone, I hope you’re have reunited with Ma, Pa, Aunty Sheila and Cathy somewhere peaceful. Travel well, Uncle Leo. We’ll carry your memory. Rest in peace - John L
