I’ll never forget the sound of your boisterous, unfiltered laughter filling the room.
Your kitchen wasn’t just for cooking chunky hot chips, scones and cupcakes. Your kitchen was where many impromptu song and dance numbers took place, and where my appreciation of musicals came from.
Your home always felt welcoming with lots of trinkets to look at and many photos on display, which sparked my interest in photography.
My love of flowers and plants came from following you around the garden. When I was a child you would let me hose the plants and, as an adult you would try to load me up with cuttings to take home.
There are so many other wonderful memories of you which I will always cherish. Thank you for being my Nan.
Love always, Janine Marie xoxo
