John was a fantastic father in law who was generous, possessed a slightly eccentric humour and was a great storyteller even right to the end - a smart man full of interesting facts. I loved hearing his accounts of life back in the UK during the war and walking through the Bacchus family history with him which the grandchildren can cherish one day too. He’s raised 3 awesome children and was loved by his grand children He’s in a better place now and finally resting in peace. Xx Carolyn
