My mum & Jill were friends for over 70 years having met at secondary school in the UK. They kept in touch by frequent letters & sent gifts for birthdays & Christmas. Christmas 2019 we managed a video call for them which was great to be a part of seeing the 2 friends chatting away. Jill visited the UK on 2 occasions which I remember well & my mum always treasured those memories. I came over to Australia in 1985 where I was made so welcome by Jill and all the family. Condolences to all the family
