Llois (deceased) & Hugh Shorten have known, loved and greatly respected Marie & Bernie for many years. It is with extreme sadness that I say farewell to a true friend. Bernie was such a wonderful friend who was always there to help us. How can I ever forget the times he drove me to St Vincents Private Hospital for Surgeons appointments. So many times!
Bernie and I shared a love for our old Volvos, which increased our friendship. As members of SHVC we spent may enjoyable times together and with our wonderful wives.
So it is through my tears of sadness, that I say farewell to my mate Bernie.
My condolences are extended to his family. Thank you Tanya for keeping me informed.
Hugh.
