Graham was my cousin and my best friend as a child. His father was my mother's brother and we spent a lot of time at each other's homes. The two families went on camping holidays together at Thirroul. Our families spent time visiting our Aunty Eileen, my mum and Uncle Bob's sister, who lived at Avalon.
We lost touch when my dad, mum and I moved to a dairy farm near Taree in 1959. After that our lives went very different ways.
Fifty-nine years later I moved to Basin View and visited Graham regularly. We enjoyed talking about our exploits as children.
I will miss him.
