Ron Rice was principal of the school I worked at in the 80s. He was the best principal I ever worked for in 35 years of teaching. He was kind, funny, principled, hard-working, even-tempered and just always did the right thing. So many good memories of him laughing with people, coming into classrooms just to visit the children, seeing the funny side, treating staff with respect. I am so sad to hear of his passing even though our paths haven’t crossed in many years. Sincere condolences to his children and their families, you were so blessed to be his family.
