My husband, Graeme Spinks (deceased) was best man at David's wedding to Pat Edwards and their daughter Michelle was well known to a lot of people in his younger years. He with many others played soccer and socialised through it for many years. I knew his parents and used to travel from Sans Souci to Kogarah and on to the city with her several times a week. David's brother Clive was a member of the pop group "Sherbet" and before they were well-known the band performed at David's 21st birthday. Since moving from Sans Souci 21 years ago to Batemans Bay I have only seen David once (at my husband's funeral in 2012). I was told by a friend late Sunday night that he had passed away and the funeral was Monday, 19th August. Due to medical appointments I was unable to attend and I have no means of contacting his daughter Michelle. Would you be kind enough to let her know that we share her sorrow.
