Dear Sarah, Rebecca, Virginia and families, my sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved mother. It was an honour and privilege to know her and hear her stories. Your Mum was so proud of her ‘girls’. I thank her for her friendship, her wisdom and her quirky sense of humour that she so willingly shared with me, plus her cups of tea and slice of homemade cake, especially during the Covid lockdowns.
