As you rode off into the sunset
Your light began to fade.
Your earthly days were over,
Not so the memories we’d made.
You’ll live on when we talk of you
Of all the things we used to do
And when my turn comes to ride away
Meet me at the rest stop on that day
Then once again we’ll ride together
On golden highways, friends forever.
