Maryanne, Tricia and families. I’m so sorry I couldn’t attend your Dad’s service in person as I was travelling interstate, but thank you for allowing me to view it now. It was a wonderful tribute to a wonderful man. You both spoke so beautifully, as did Joanne, and shared so many precious moments. As you know, I was privileged to have your mum and dad as neighbours when I had first moved out of home and they were the kindest, friendliest neighbours anyone could hope for. I also shared lots of memories of cups of teas and biscuits with your mum and dad. It was lovely to remember his love of machines, his planes and his organ. I have fond memories of Betty and her knitting machines as well. Thank you for sharing so many memories and photographs. They brought back lots of happy memories for me, and I know they will bring you comfort over the days ahead. Thinking of you all.
