Nola and I first became friends in early primary school, along with her now sister-in-law Gay, continuing through high school and beyond. Although I lived interstate as an adult, we maintained contact, even if only Christmas, the odd phone call, messanger messages in recent years, and a couple of visits back to Bomaderry.
