I didn't even know you were so sick Sam and was shocked to hear of your passing.
You may have given a few of us younger firefighters some grief in your day but it was only because you were so passionate about our safety.
For that and your advocacy on behalf of all firefighters in the RFS and beyond, my colleagues and I will be forever grateful.
Sincere condolences to Ruth, Bec, Karly and your extended family - you will be missed Sam.
