I first met Glen in 1982. I was a brand new Christian and Glen was part of an EE team, who discipled and prayed with me. Glen was a great encouragement in the faith. He was someone who I looked up to and saw as an evangelist with a passion for others to know and serve the Jesus that he loved. Throughout his life Glen continued to be a model of and a man of passion for the gospel of Jesus. He is respected and loved by many. My husband and I are indebted to Glen and Ruth, for their prayer and support throughout our own life and ministry. We as couples have had some good fun together over the years, and we will miss him.. We continue to pray for the family. Sending our love and sympathy to Ruth and family. Much love Peter and Julie Hayward

To Dear Ruth and family, Firstly, please accept my deep heartfelt condolences on Glen's passing. He put in a magnificent fight from first diagnosis and there have been so many prayers.... He, and you, have been surrounded with love! Unfortunately I cannot join you at Monday's service in person, as I am in the Cook Islands, but I will be there with you on the livestream and in spirit! Glen has been my solid lifelong friend and brother in Christ since 1978. He has been a rock of faithfulness to our dear Lord, for me and so many others! He is now with Jesus. I am sorry I am not at home to find more photos, but here is one that Helen Tunnah kindly shared with me, taken with Glen in relaxed mode at my place in Sutherland, on the hot day after Mick and Barb Davey's wedding in January 1983. Apparently Glen's Peugeot? car overheated on the trip up from Nowra! We later went to the beach. One of my fondest memories of Glen was body surfing with him at Pretty Beach for nearly two hours with the most perfect waves! Glen was my mate and I will sorely miss him. from John McPhail
