To Lindsay, John, Maureen and Families,
sending our heartfelt condolences to you all on the loss of Pat, we are thinking of you all at this time. I have very fond memories of Pat with my time in the Moe Marching Girls and as kids going on our trips to the Frankston Beach on the bus every January with the Scot Club Ladies, which our mums were members of and their families. Pats Dad played the Piano Accordian on the way down and we all sang along with him and every year we all came home with sunburn, great times had by all.

I have known Pat for 60 years being part of the Moe Buttercups marching girls.
Pat was not only my instructor but also became a friend to all my family.

When Pat came down to The Salvation Army we greeted each other as old friends. The length of time or reason for the reunion was of little consequence to either Pat or my family, as we picked up where we left off after a quick catch up. An onlooker might expect a rather casual relationship from this arrangement, but it was a real joy every time. It was a meeting of friends that hold each other in high regard and seek to enrich the other person with what little time we had together. For me it was enough to know that we would mutually greet each other with a smile that put the worries of the world aside for a while and be safe in each others company. I hold this in my heart as I know that just a while we will meet again and the in between times won't matter.
I thank God for you, Pat.

Mum became friends with Pat when she first moved to Nowra and remained close friends.
Sadly mum is currently in hospital and won't be able to attend the service but is sending her love and good wishes

Deepest condolences on the loss of your mum, and my Aunty Pat. Fond memories of Christmas Holidays at your place, Aunty Pat whisking us off to whatever beach for a surf and swim, taking us to the Roxy and the Nowra Pool, her favourite This Is Your Life shenanigans, house parties on New Years Eve, and having a sing-a-long with my parents and the neighbours.
