My big sister Pat - words cannot describe how much your life touched so many people. I remember you always being full of Love and laughter. Your unconditional love for your family was just one of the things I remember the most, and it never changed. Your smile could light up a room. I deeply regret not being able to see much of you in later years but I know you held me in your heart - that was the kind of big sister we all loved . I know I will meet you in heaven soon and I cannot wait to get one of your special hugs and kisses. Rest well my lovely sister and know that you will always be in the heart of all that were lucky enough to know you.
God bless and keep you close to his heart. Sending you all my love and just know you will always be in my heart.

Patty, my eldest sister, was one of the kindest and most beloved people I have ever known. Cherished by her husband, Ron, her children, and all who had the fortune to know her, Patty’s warmth and care touched so many lives. From a young age, she took on the role of a second mother, looking after Mum and us kids with unwavering love and without a single complaint.
Though distance kept us apart at times, Patty’s love always reached me. Her memory—her smile, her laughter, her gentle voice filled with kindness—will stay with me always. She was, and will forever be, loved by everyone whose lives she graced.
With love, Brother John & Family

Nan. When I think of you I think of summers spent at your place, long beach visits and one special Christmas where all the cousins slept on the loungroom floor waiting for Santa. I think of breakfast together at your table, your sharp tongue, hours (and hours) of bingo, dinners at the Club, and playing shops in your backyard. I will so miss visiting you. I've loved returning to the place I spent so much time as a kid, and losing you signifies that special time has come to an end.
I am so sorry to miss the opportunity to say goodbye together with my family, especially my mum Belinda, as I'm away in far north Queensland, but I am eternally thankful I was able to spend time with you just last month, playing our last game of bingo, as if something in me sensed it was important I get to you to say goodbye.
Rest in peace with Pop, Nan. I love you.
Your granddaughter, Stephanie Rose.

We have such wonderful memories of time spent with Aunty Pat and her family. Many happy visits with them at Canley Vale and catching up at parties and rainbow functions. Her laughter was always joyful. We know how much she was loved by her family and friends and how much she will be missed. Love and condolences from us as you celebrate her life, the Harrison family xx

My dearest Pat not just my dearest sister but also my best friend. She is also my favourite person in
The whole world. We shared many adventures during our lives . In our teenage years we spent many fun evenings at dances , balls and Rainbow functions. We were young married couples doing many events together.we both helped each other immensely after complications with our first babies , Chris & Gayle. Our children all being similar ages grew up together. Ron and Pat held my 21st birthday at their unfinished house at Canley Vale . We christened Chris and Gayle on the same day and held the celebration at our small Cabramatta house. Spent a lot of time travelling together to Dubbo to visit Mum , Dad and Sandra. In our later years we spent many lovely holidays together especially with family in Queensland . We have always had many phone calls every week and told each other to “ keep on keeping on”. I don’t know what I’m going to do without her in my life.
I will love you always and already miss you so much.
Lots of love Dawn

A wonderful photo of Pattie and just as we remember her. She often visited us on the Sunshine and Gold Coasts and we had lots of laughs and a few days at the “track” with modest flutters. We dropped by Sanctuary Point a couple of months ago driving from Sydney to Melbourne and had a good catch up. She was in good spirits but obviously had some health issues. Nevertheless we were a bit shocked at her passing. She looked after us younger kids when she was not much more than a kid herself and I’m glad many of us are here to help lay her to rest. Vale Pattie

To my beloved Whalan family,
Aunty Pat was an extraordinary woman. Her warmth and good nature radiated from her. I am lucky enough to have spent many hours with her throughout my childhood and into my adult years, sharing many fabulous celebrations at Canley Vale. She was a devoted mother to her four children and adored being a grandmother and great grandmother. Her community service made her well regarded in the community.
She will be sorely missed.
Love Christine Andrews (nee Saunders)
