You welcomed me into the Husky football family as an outsider and despite your nickname of ‘Angry’ you were far from it, as you were always there for everyone in a heart beat without fail. To me outside of my time playing at Husky, you were always Mr Wagga, organising the squad to participate in the tournament, dealing with bookings and providing energy drinks, lollies and bananas for everyone without expectation.
We used to share together at these tournaments in the pergola between games and afterwards over a beer or two, catching up like a couple of old mates who had not seen each other for years. Sadly I will not be able to share any more good times with you Chrissy. I know you loved your family deeply by the way you spoke so fondly about them, and they like me will miss you and your dry sense of humour and caring nature. Whenever I pull on the green and white Husky jersey again, you will be in my thoughts.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Chris’ death. Over the years, I had the privilege of witnessing his dedication and care, not just in his work, which was always meticulous and of the highest quality, but in the way he treated people. He was a family man through and through, always speaking with pride and love about his children, grandchildren, and his great-grandchild.
What stood out most about Chris was his heart. He often went of his way to help others, even doing more than what was asked or expected. He was generous with his time and talents, especially to those he felt might be struggling. His kindness and moral character shone through in everything he did.
Chris will be deeply missed for the kind, decent, and genuine person he was. My thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time. May he have found piece.
In sadness

Chris was a good man. A man I respected. A man I tried to emulate. A person who worked hard. He was a good person, and someone I admired greatly. I'll miss him immensely. He was much loved, much lauded, and much esteemed. I thought only the best of him. I'm terribly sad he's gone, but I hope, I pray and I wish intensely that wherever he is, he's happy, that he is free from suffering. Again, I'll miss him more than words can say.
Thanks for being such a good person Chris. You'll be remembered, and those memories cherished.
