Sending my prayers and love to Elaine and all the family, Jim was such a wonderful person and I loved sharing time with him over lots of stories and laughter, our lovely cuppas and cake together. Forever in my heart, Victoria Bugg

Jim Briggs was a significant figure our family for many years . Our mother, Judy, worked with Jim for a very long time and, now even with her mind not as it was, will mention Jim often and remark how lucky she was to have such a wonderful boss. An absolute gentleman, a role model, a leader with impeccable attributes and loved by so many. Rest in peace Jim. Warm regards and condolences to the Briggs family, from the Birtles family.

Jim was our beloved neighbour. We all looked forward to our Monday catch ups for cake, tea and a good chat. Jim was such a gentle, sweet and kind man. He was like a grandfather to my children. We will miss him immensely. We will raise a teacup to him every Monday with Elaine. Ruth, Evan, Eva and Maya xxx

I spent nearly 10 years working at Fosseys, straight from school. Mr Briggs was a bit intimidating at first but once we got to know each other, he had a very cheeky side and he got my sense of humour. Even years after working there, catch-up luncheons were always a hoot. He will be missed, such a kind and genuine man.

Mr Briggs was my manager when I was newly married and moved to Nowra. He was a lovely man.
