I served with Kev at HMAS Albatross and I have not met a more generous and caring person. He was an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to call him a shipmate.
To his family, please accept my sincerest condolences at this terrible time but know he will be forever looking over you all.
RIP Shipmate, Fair winds and following seas.

My deepest condolences to Kevin’s family and close friends. I, like many others was shocked to hear of his passing as he was indeed a character who has been taken to soon.
Kevin made my time on Tobruk bearable and memorable, not only as my chief but as a shipmate who I regularly ventured off the ship with exploring whatever port we had stopped in. He always managed to find super hot chilly, was always laughing or making others laugh and enjoyed a beer or three. Kevin - You will be missed.

Kev, a great big heart and always up for a laugh and beer. My time, on Tobruk, while short was made better by having you as a shippers. I send my condolences to his family as they have lost a big part of their life on earth. However, I am positive that they know he will be on their shoulders through their life watching over and protecting them.

I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Kev.
I served with Kev on HMAS TOBRUK and had a deep respect for him. I will always remember him for his endearing qualities which included being a genuine good bloke who was always willing to help out with a smile. Also his ability to rise to any chilli eating challenge.
My sincere and heart felt condolences go to his wife Leanne and children. A top bloke taken way too soon.

It was with sadness and shock to hear of Kev's passing, I served with Kev as many others did. He was a guy who would bring cheer to any situation with his humour and wit. It was a pleasure and an honour to have served with him.
I remember an episode of Man Vs Food where the guy could not complete the challenge of a "Hot" serving only a couple of months after Kev had posted about completing it himself on Facebook. What a legend of a man he was when it came to Chili.
Rest in peace Kev, gone too soon

Kev,
You were my Shipmate and my friend. So many memories of our service together have come flooding back the last few days. Although I was still serving you still invited me on your trips to overseas even though you knew I couldn't go. Why? Because you always included everyone. No one ever felt left out when you were around. Rest In Peace Shipmate. My sincere condolences to your family and friends at this devastating time. It was an honour and pleasure to have travelled some of our journeys on the same path Brother

Please except my deepest sympathy at this very sad time. He was a great gentle man that i feel so privileged to have known and worked with for over 20 years. The naval community will miss him greatly but not as much as you his family. Sorry i cannot make the funeral but will take a minute or two to remember him on Friday xx

I served with Kev twice and haven't met many people as genuine and professional as he was. We may not have been best buddies but whenever I bumped into him it was great to catch up and have a chin wag.
