My most sincere condolences to you both. Dave was such a lovely, thoughtful and generous man who will be so dearly missed.
I have such fond memories of being treated to peppermint Freddo Frogs from the shop as a child. Then, having worked there as a teen, I will always remember him promoting that chocolate is actually good for dogs - I often had strict instructions to feed Peppy a Freddo at ‘chocolate o’clock’ if Dave was off to an early round of golf. Peppy was around thirteen at the time and had enjoyed a Freddo (or two) daily!
Dave had such a big heart. I am so sorry for your loss.
