Aunty Joan was ahead of her time in many ways. She encouraged us at family gatherings to try ethnic foods such as tabouleh when we had never heard of it! She was extremely kind to me and my brother and we remember a boat trip around Sydney harbour in an inflatable boat! RIP Aunty Joan you will be missed
