My Condolences Mrs Phelps and family,
My name is Ken, l am the same age as Peter was. In the time l knew Peter, thru school and during a short time together playing League l found him to be as l realize again, a very nice person. I couldn't say I ever heard him pass comment on anyone in an angry or menacing voice. Well, on the football field doesn't count, we all passed various words around after being beaten. Our team wasn't the best.
It's with a sad heart that I read of his passing, way too young and leaving behind a loving family. I'm sorry that l won't be able to show my respects to an old school mate in person. I hope he knows my thoughts are with his family at this time of their losing a husband, and having known Peter, an extremely proud father and grandfather.
