Dear poppy, I came in here to leave you a little message , but as I start to type my throat closes, tears flow and for once I can’t find the words , there are no words that can explain how much my heart aches just thinking about you and how full of life you were, always having a chuckle making silly jokes and picking on nan , you made every body smile so much, the bond we had was unbreakable, not only are you my beloved and only grandfather , but a father to me till your last breath , the best father figure anyone could ever ask for , I’ve never had anyone in my life love me and want me as much as you and nan do , you loved and cared for me as your own and every singe memory we have together just hovers at the front of my forehead every day they sit there constantly and I start to smile , then tears start but finally I smile again, I wish I had the chance to say this to you before you grew your wings, but thank you, thank you for all your love , all your hugs and kisses (even the itchy ones) & all your efforts though out life to make sure I turned out well, you and nan made me the person I am today yous taught me how to love and how to be loved and I will always be forever grateful to have the absolute best of the best by my side to this day no matter what, I love you and I miss you more then anything ♥️
