Playing football with Darren for the Urana Spiders at Oklands, copped Darren's knee to my right eyebrow and opened it up (we were playing for the same team), 7 stitches and my eye was closed for a week. Hate to think what he would do to someone in the other team. Glad he liked me ... I think he liked me???

Dear Kim & family, Dick & Val, Kerryne & Michele and families, Please accept my deepest condolences, words are not suited for this. My fondest memories of Darren were cheering on the “Spides” and hooning in his little black car with the cushions in the back window (they might even have had a “spider” embroidered or hobby Tex on them? If was fantastic to see how happy he and Kim were with their lives with the boys and their grand children. Unfortunately I can’t make it to Kiama, but my thoughts and prayers ar weird you all.
