Your laugh, your smile, your technical expertise on random topics, your absolute genuine nature... It’s hard to imagine we won’t ever see you walk through the door again, not stopped in the middle of the street for a random chat or at any gatherings with friends. Our dog won’t ever do his incessant wiggle for you on your arrival and we won’t get to see any more of your pets when you’ve proudly brought them around just for a cuddle. You’d travel so far just to say hello and we forever loved your company. You’re the reason Willow wants her very own remote controlled car after you taught her how to use yours. I’ll miss the chatter throughout the house between yourself and Matty on random topics and projects. I wish you’d both had organised a common day to go out riding together like you both wanted. You were always welcome, even when the afternoons turned into dinners. You’ve been a one of a kind person to have the pleasure of meeting. We’ll miss you dearly Shane xx

The loss of such a bright life really is painful. Everyone loved Shane, he always had a huge smile and was full of joy. He was so valued by so many people.
He will always be remembered for being the bright light in the dark room.

Shane... Cockram as I lovingly knew him, was one of the most genuine, compassionate, and selfless people ive ever had the privilege of calling a mate, and im eternally thankful for the time we shared in this life. He always appeared right when you didnt realise you needed him to, almost as if he could sense something. Ive known very few people that were as caring, kind, unjudgemental and full of love, and doubt ill know too many more in the future.
I'll never forget you mate, or the influence you had on my life for the better. You probably never even thought a lot of it, but you got me through some things i thought i could never push through, and i am so sorry i couldnt do the same when you needed somebody to get you through yoyr darkest hour. I love you brother, always.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I went to school with Shane and he was always so kind and thoughtful. I can imagine how you all must be feeling. I lost my father to suicide in 2017, and can’t express my sadness to you all. If there’s anything the family needs, please do not hesitate to reach out. Shane was the kind of man who would take the shirt off his back to give it to you. He would always manage to make those around him laugh and his smile was so contagious.
