To our dear Aunty (and Great Aunty) Dor,
We have been reminiscing and have many wonderful memories of times spent with you.
One of my fondest memories (I was around 9) was Aunty D washing my hair in the old house on the farm at Hautapu. She said to me "your hair is now squeaky clean" as she ran her thumb over my hair. And it squeaked! Still makes me smile when I remember this.
Many memories of gardening, garden centers, knitting, cups of tea and her crafts. Always a generous spirit she spent many hours helping others at the blood bank and the hospice shop.
Love you always Chris, Kim and Erin
Doreen was a very good friend to my mum, Betty Milicich, for many years. Mum was always very happy to hear from Doreen. I think they tried to solve many of the worlds problems in their discussions. They also supported each other with whatever was happening in their lives. Mum passed two years ago. Now mum and Doreen will be able to continue their chats in a different dimension.
Our sympathies are with Doreen's family at this sad time.
Carol and Don Wilson.
Condolences on Doreen's passing from Virginia Collins. Aunty Virgie asked me to pass this message on to family as Doreen was a very good friend to her as well. They enjoyed time at a knitting group together and talked often on the phone.
Deepest sympathy from Virginia Collins.
