Michael (Pincher) is remembered as TAS Junior Sailor, a Birdy and and a Civvy. He was renown as a mischievous rascal, a handful for senior sailors but always he had a good heart. He was a pleasure to have in the TAS crew and when ashore.
Sixty One is still too young for a fun loving Sailor to cross the bar. He will be missed.
Our Sympathies are with the family and near friends . May you all have a calm passage on this, his latest voyage.

Joined the Navy as a young bloke, a UC you became,
Saw the light saw the gold and put some wings above your name,

I wish I had the photo of my departure from HC 723 Squadron as Senior Observer in 1988. All the Aircrewmen contributed to my fairwell gift of a female stripper. The photo shows all of us with the young lady. Would not happen these days. A heartfelt gesture that was truly appreciated by us all.
