My deepest sympathy to the Lindsay family,
I am so thankful to have shared such wonderful memories with Jules while working at DTI. Without doubt, the most 'Positive' person I’ve ever met. A smile that lights up a room and an aura of cheerfulness and joy whom lifted everyone’s spirits.
Thank you, Jules, for giving me a fresh perspective on life, for all your words of wisdom, for reminding me about the important things in life, the stuff that really matters.
While lives pass, memories carry on forever… and I will be forever grateful to say I once knew this incredible person named Jules.

All I see is that beautiful smile ........I got to know Julie at the Firearms Registry and quickly became friends. We laughed at the same jokes, trained at lunchtimes (I mean she told me how high to jump and how fast to run)!!!! I will miss her gorgeous, brave smile. My sincerest condolences to Jule's immediate and extended families.

I had the pleasure of working (& training!) with Julie for about a year at the FR - not long compared to some - but in that time, she very quickly became a friend. She was such a truly genuine, honest and enthusiastic person. A shining light!! Every day I take inspiration from how she always remained positive throughout.
It is so so sad that she is no longer with us but I will always remember her.

I had the pleasure meeting Julie in 2019 while she worked at the Firearms Registry. We quickly developed a friendship and joined Julie for lunchtime PT sessions at the park. She was incredibly fit and kept us honest! I will remember Julie for her positive and caring attitude. She was an incredibly inspirational and motivational person. I only knew Julie for a short period, however she left quite an impression. Heartfelt condolences to Julie’s family. She will be sadly missed.

Dear Toby and family, I worked with Julie during her time with DTI as Gordon Dunsford's staff officer. Julie was always cheerful and energetic and took it upon herself to encourage people to use the gym and improve general fitness levels across our command. Julie took time to help myself and the new Directors as we settled into our roles, she was the embodiment of a great Police officer, and always put the service first. I remember Julie's pride on becoming a grandmother. Julie was a fighter and her legacy will live on with those of us who were fortunate to work with her.
Regards
Joseph Reddy

I worked with Julie at Strike Force Raptor for a number of years. She was so passionate about what she did and achieved so much there and for New South Wales. I only knew her in her professional life however I think it is important to acknowledge how she led such a great team by passion, knowledge and people skills. She contributed so much to NSW, particularly when things were out of control with the bikies and with all the pressure on her at the time. She left a real legacy in the New South Wales Police.
God bless you Julie and your family

Julie- I am unsure where we met- at a trail run maybe- Jabalini?? but I can't be certain. From the moment we met, your love of life and positive attitude were amazing. It took a few meetings until we realized we were blue sisters too!! My favorite memory is seeing you in the middle of UTA100 (the really wet year)- I was going through a bad patch, you were many kms in front of me and your smile and encouragement and genuine great time you were having at that moment got me through my dark patch. Your love of your family, the trails and life were contagious. My thoughts and prayers to your beautiful family.
Miss ya mate,
Annie DVB

Such a tragedy. Jules was very a good friend to my family and I. She stayed at my house a few times while we worked at music festivals at Byron Bay, where we became friends. She gave me advice on how to run investment properties, encouraged me to apply for promotions, and even brought my kids little presents. I remember her working hard all night at Splendour In the Grass, doing jobs, enjoying the music and the antics of the festival-goers. She would then drive home with us to Lismore and do a 8km run. She was very excited about seeing Koalas while running. When Toby and Julie moved up to the Northern Rivers I was really happy, because I would get to see more of both of them, and I know Julie loved life on the North Coast. Toby my heart aches for you my friend, life can be so bitter and unfair. Julie will be missed by so many people. Love, Dave and Barbie Henderson, Lismore.

Thank you for your encouragement when I started a healthier lifestyle and fitness journey and for being an inspiration to me.
Thank you for always lending a hand when needed, you were a wonderful sister to Debbie and because of your giving nature, you’ve helped me out many times as well.
