I only knew Simon for a month, but gosh what an impression he left! He was always upbeat, always sassy, always able to crack up an entire room of people with one wry observation. He spoke so so highly of his family and you could tell he was one of those people that left a huge beautiful sunny impression wherever he went.
I feel immensely privileged to have crossed paths with him.
All my love and condolences to his family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss.
Simon, I will always remember your cheeky smile, walking through wintery Sydney with a cup of coffee- ordered ahead via an app of course- and the calm moments of reflection on your favourite sunny bench. Thank you for your time with us.

I couldn’t attend the funeral in person but watched online. I feel privileged to have met Simon and get to see him perform. There are no words to express how sorry I am for the loss you as a family have suffered. You were an inspiration today.

Simon is INCREDIBLE!!!!! I truly loved performing with him and even just his hugs were the best!!! Dear Linda,
Thinking of you and your family at this very sad time. Simon was so amazing in every way, as a student he was a teachers dream and worked so hard to become the great performer he was. Simon's tap dancing improved after each class and with his beautiful upper body he made it look so easy. His footwork on film in our Sydney Dance Company piece Buster Brown ‘Laura’ was brilliantly insane and his performance in ‘Aladdin’ with those spins at the end was nothing but spectacular!!!
I remember how excited he was when he got that big contract on the ship where he was a featured dancer and the footage he showed me of him was amazing, no wonder he was chosen to play the parts he was given.
After his contract finished Simon continued taking classes to become even greater, I was so proud of him, he was such an inspiration.
Simon's beautiful smile, enthusiasm to learn, his incredible talent and his love for performing I will never forget. He will live on forever in my heart.

Dear David, Linda and Geordie, I am so so sorry for your loss. Sending you all so much love.
I went to Uni with Simon and will forever treasure the memories we have together.
I will miss his big hugs, his beautiful smile that would light up the room, his sass, and watching him absolutely crush it on stage and in the studio. His work ethic was unmatched, giving his all to everything he put his mind and heart to. I was so proud of all he had achieved and was continuing to work for. Besides performing, we also both had a great love for Chickos schnitzel burgers, and every time he stopped there on his way home down the coast, he'd send me a picture of himself with his burger. A bit of a joke each time, but something I now cherish the memories of. He had a heart of gold and I am so grateful to have known and loved him.
