I was truly saddened to hear of Pauls passing, I new Paul from the days of RCS out in field, but mainly in the office at Burwood, then later in Tranfeild on the ill fated One-tel project, we had one argument in Telstra probably through my lack of patience, but within a few days he'd forgotten about it and just laughed it off, years latter when I passed him in his office! at Transfield I said how did you get this spot, without blinking an eye he replied "same as you, bluffed it" A true Irishman in the old school variety. My sincere condolences to his family.

I went to primary school with Paul back in the 1950’s and early 60’s in Curraha, Co Meath, Ireland. Things were tough in Ireland in those days. Paul went off to Australia with two of his friends, Joe and Jimmy. My wife Ann and I arrived in Sydney some years later. Paul came to see us in Sydney and we were very surprised to see this character in a blue velvet suit driving a Datsun 240z sports car - very different to the image of Paul back on the farm at Curraha.
We have been very good friends since then sharing enjoyable experiences with Paul and Hilary, including the St Patrick’s Day ball, birthday parties, bar-b-cues to mention a few.
We miss Paul and Hilary very much and our greatest sympathies are with their two beautiful daughters.

Deepest condolences to Paul's family. He was a great guy and we were lucky the four of us discovered each other so far from home. So sad this corona virus kept us all apart. Kat and Susan, we're still family if we can do anything let us know.

So sorry for your loss, Susie and Kat. Although I have never had the privilege of meeting your dad, I can see in you both all the qualities which would have made him such a kind, fun and loving person. You have done so well to convey that during the service, and in the beautiful slide show. Both your mum and dad would be so immensely proud of the wonderful legacy they have left behind in the both of you. Take care of yourselves and each other. Love Hai-Van, Benny, Finn and Jamie xx

Sending our condolences to you both Kathryn & Susan. I remember so clearly your Dad arriving straight from Ireland to our home in Orange . As kids we had never seen anyone quite like him with his wild hair & 'groovy' clothes and his willingness to break into song at any opportunity. Every memory I have of Paul he is laughing.
I hope all the happy memories you have of both your Mum & Dad will help you through this time
Maryelle & Tom Ryan xx
